All these can certainly make for a happy bride.

When you think about jewelry, money is not far behind. You see red carpet events on television and you notice all those sparkling earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets. You may dream of having them but you know that is woefully out of reach. But there is still a way to look trendy and stylish without breaking the bank. You can try out making handmade jewelry. Handmade jewelry is a hot trend right now and there could be seminars or workshops about it in your local communities. This could even be a possible source of income for you in the future.

You can begin with making the simple forms of jewelry. As you become more experienced, you can continue on to those with more intricate ones. Say, you want to make a necklace. The first thing you would have to do is to choose your beads. These can be easily purchased in bead or craft stores. They usually come in the form of precious metals, glass, crystal, gems, plastic, and wood. For the really handmade approach though, you can use paper or clay.

Lay out the design for your necklace on a piece of paper. Cut the bead wire and make sure that it is five inches longer than you want the actual necklace to be. Put the beads in, following the pattern you want and then finish it off with a final clasp and then trim excess wire. You are now well on your way to making your own jewelry and the potential to earn from it.

Everybody knows that you should have your own little black dress in your closet. This is for those cocktails and dates where you want to look chic and sophisticated. It’s really a classic. But aside from this, what other pieces should a girl really, really have?

First in our list is the little black dress but of course you don’t wear this every day. You can’t go around town running errands with this on. People will surely laugh at you. On the other hand, a perfect tee will go a long way in making you feel comfortable in running around town on a Saturday afternoon. You can wear it by itself during summer and layer it with vests and jackets during the colder months.

An excellent pair of boot cut jeans is also a lifesaver. Just dress it up with a trendy blouse and you can go out clubbing with your girlfriends in style and comfort. This is certainly wearable all year-round.

Next on our list are jersey knit dresses. They are stylish in different seasons. These dresses are also travel friendly because they don’t really wrinkle and you can just hang it up for a while before wearing them.

A cardigan is also something that can easily top off a tank in summer and a turtleneck in winter. It is versatile and can be used with a lot of different pieces.

High-heel shoes and stylish bags are the next pieces that should round off your pieces and complete your wardrobe.

Every woman has it. That little pouch that contains essential items that she absolutely cannot live without. This is the ubiquitous cosmetic pouch. These days though, it seems that the pouch is becoming more and more like a bag.  The ladies seem to be hauling everything but the kitchen sink. It’s time to break down to the essentials to trim down the bag back to the pouch.

The first essential must have is a concealer. Most everyone needs this to hide blemishes such as discolorations, zits, and dark circles around the eyes. The next essential is foundation or at least some sort of face powder. This is to even out the skin. One in matte would be good. Mascara and eye liners are also important. However, one or two of each will do because you don’t have to bring your entire arsenal everywhere with you.  Then there are the tools for the lips, lip gloss and lip stick. Always bring shades with you that you know go with your skin tone. Next is a compact of eye shadow. Make sure that you have enough variety to carry you through day to night makeup as you never know when you might have a surprise date for the night. It would be good if you are able to find make up that are small enough and made especially for being carried around.

Now, just an important reminder, don’t forget to throw out old make up. These are certainly not part of the must haves.
